An invitation to take part in the conference regarding tackling racism and violence in football stadiums received from the FARE organization turned out an unexpected surprise. FC “Karpaty” was the only Ukrainian club represented at the event (among representatives of football clubs and organizations from Germany, Austria, Italy, Poland, Croatia and Russia). The president of the Public organization “Karpaty” Mr Oleh Soldatenko represented our organization at the meeting. All speakers could tell about problems emerging with respect to racism and violation happening at football arenas, measures taken to prevent such incidents and plans for future. Besides plan of cooperation for nearest future was accepted, monitoring of situation at stadium stands and places near stadiums was made as well. |
