The third fan’s tournament in Oleksandriya this year first time in history had an “open” format. Besides fans of FC “Oleksandriya” teams from Lviv, Luhans’k and Mariupol’ arrived in the city.
The organizers planned to attract four teams from Olexandiya and 4 from other cities. But unfortunately not everyone could come over this frosty day, and two teams were put together out of the spectators.
First teams to step onto the green plastic pitch were “Karpaty” and “The 10th sector”. Guests showed that they had travelled half of our country not in the form of tourist trip – Lviv team’s walkover win 8:0.
According to the draw a combined Mariupol-Luhansk team had to play against future champions FC “Rykun” (Olexandr Rykun – FC “Metalist” midfielder famous for few scandals grounded of his alcohol addiction). Despite crazy support of the stands and will to victory, Mariupol-Luhansk lost 0:7. Rest group matches guys played good technical football, but scored only a single goal and took the last place in group.
In group “A” situation was like in Brazilian soap-operas.Three teams gained equal quantity of points. “Karpaty” took the first place thanks to first match win and the scores in personal matches, and «Supporters Aleksandria» were the second team getting to the semifinal.

“Karpaty” Lviv
“Karpaty” won their semifinal confidently 4:0. In another match there wasn’t enough neither two halves nor extra time. The luck smiled to FC “Rykun” in penalties. In 3rd place match “Supporters Alexandria” didn’t repeat the semifinal match mistakes – they struggled all the match and gained bronze second year in a row.
The final was really interesting and tensed. Most of the time there was a draw result. But on the last minutes lviv fans staked everything and let through two counterattacks.
Short awarding ceremony, taking pictures with the trophy and the celebrating took it continuation in one of town’s canteens. Fans spent much time in talks and fun while waiting trains for Eastern and Western Ukraine.
